Benjamin Franklin Jones, Jr. (c. 1924 – July 24, 2009) was an American football coach. He served as the head coach at Presbyterian College from 1957 to 1961 and at the University of Richmond from 1966 to 1973, compiling a career college football record of 68–60–3. ==Coaching career== Jones was the 27th head football coach for the University of Richmond Spiders located in Richmond, Virginia and he held that position for eight seasons, from 1966 until 1973. His career coaching record at Richmond was 44 wins, 38 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him fourth at Richmond in total wins and sixth at Richmond in winning percentage.〔(Richmond Coaching Records )〕
